What is the VBA doing to reduce defects in new buildings?
What problems are VBA inspectors finding in Victorian buildings?  And how is it planning to prevent them in the future?

What are the biggest problems found in Victorian buildings?

What strategies are being pursued by the Victorian Building Authority to improve the quality of new apartment buildings?

With around 800,000 dwellings being created over the next 10 years in the State, the regulator is looking at options to improve data collection and to improve building quality.

Will these initiatives work?  And how should practitioners avoid some of the common problems they've been finding in buildings so far?

In this seminar, Daniel Sloan of the VBA and Hank Van Ravenstein of LCI Consultants will explore what's happening now, what practitioners should look for, and what the future holds.
