AS 1670.1:2018 - what is required and what's in the future?
The design, installation, and commissioning of fire detection, warning, control, and intercom systems - what is required by the standard and what is to come?

AS 1670.1:2018 covers Fire detection, warning, control and intercom systems — System design, installation, and commissioning.

It was altered
a couple of years ago when Amendment 1 went through, and a new version of the standard has now gone out for public comment, looking to update areas still requiring review.

But what did these amendments mean?  How are practitioners expected to use the standard?  And what is going to change with the new draft?

In this webinar, Keith Shinn from Honeywell will walk through what the current standard requires and will map out where he thinks it might change in the future.
