AMENDMENT TO AS 1851-2012 OUT FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

Since its publication in December 2012, AS 1851-2012 Routine Service of Fire Protection Systems & Equipment has been adopted or recognised in most Australian jurisdictions.

This standard included many important refinements, however it was also identified by FPA Australia that there were a number of editorial and referencing errors within AS 1851-2012 and the Association successfully submitted a project proposal to Standards Australia to address these and amend the standard. The amendment includes proposed changes to the requirements for baseline data, which has been identified as a source of confusion. Public comment into this amendment is now open, click here for more information. Click here to input your feedback into the Association's survey for collation.
