With the first step of the imminent NSW fire safety reforms announced, FPA Australia will be holding a NSW Member Forum to inform members of the details of the announcement and to seek your feedback on the reforms.
The NSW Member Forum will feature an overview of the reforms from:
- Alan Host, Program Manager at the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure. Alan will talk about the new regulations from a planning perspective.
- John Tansey, Executive Director of Regulatory Policy, Better Regulation Division, NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation. John will provide a summary of what has happened with the reforms to date.
The forum will also feature an open forum Q&A, FPA Australia’s view on the reforms, and a panel discussion on the reforms’ likely effects on the industry. Joining the panel will be Robert Marinelli, Managing Director of Philip Chun and board member of the Association of Accredited Certifiers, who will cover the reforms from a certifier’s perspective.
The forum is an FPA Australia member-only event. Attendance is free for members, but space is limited, so register prior to the event to make sure you have a spot
